A&M Engagement Session

Agustina & Mauro are getting married soon in Argentina! I was so excited to capture their relationship and love. This shoot was fun because they were both willing to do anything to capture the moment. At one point, they stood next to two huge spiders, one of which was orange! True champs! Here are some of my favorites from our day together! You can see more on my Flickr Account.

Self-Portrait Project Week 3_Sky

This week was extremely tough to sit down and plan a self-portrait.
Between my mom's 50th bday party & an engagement shoot on Sunday, my mind was somewhere else. Still, I took time to drive around and try to find a cool spot. Then, I looked up and saw what a pretty day it was. No rain, no heat, no humidity...Miami's best.
So I went for the sky.

The WOW Center

Today I got to photograph the individuals at The WOW Center. A non-profit organization for adults with developmental disabilities, which I work at full time during the week.
They are the most tiring, yet the most fun and exciting to photograph.
I feel like I got ran over by a train after 8hours of trying to capture moments that highlight all of the programs in the center.
Can't wait to do it again.
Here are some of my favorites.

Self-Portrait Project 2014- Week #2

If you read my previous post about my new idea for my self-project 2014, you know I made a list of items/things/ideas I wanted to include in my photographs. As a challenge to myself
This week I decided to do one of the things on the list...lips.
I wanted the focus of the photograph to be on the lips.
I hope it did.

Photo Adventure: Andy & Yesi Vacation 2013 Party I

On the morning of Dec 7, 2013 at 4:30am I was woken up by my alarm. If you know me, you know I like to sleep until the last possible second. As I snoozed, and kept sleeping, I was awaken, not by the alarm clock but by the sound of our wedding song "White Dress" by Ben Rector.
Andy was wide awake, playing our wedding video that he had received just a few hours ago from our videographer.
I didn't even put on my glasses, as excitement filled my body.
I cried seeing my little cousins, I smiled seeing my father in law praying with andy before the ceremony, i giggled as i saw all the girls seating on the bed singing this song, i got goosebumps as i saw the car approaching and knew i was about to walk down the aisle, i laughed when andy had to run to get water for the plant in the middle of the ceremony. So many great moments captured.
Andy had the idea of doing a music video as our wedding video.
Our bridal party thought we were a little weird making them sing a song they had never sang before...but they played along and it turned out exactly how we pictured it.
You can see the video here

I spent so much time describing that moment because it was the start of our anniversary trip. It was the most memorable moment for me.

A few minutes later we were dressed and ready to get on the plane to Chattanooga, TN and then drive over to Knoxville, TN. Knoxville was so pretty. I loved the vintage style and taste the city was surrounded by. I felt right at home.
I loved the brick buildings, the thrift stores right next to each other, the small, comfy coffee shops, and the views that left you speechless.

We ate a lot, explored, climbed hills, entered abandoned cabins (well andy did), took pictures by a cemetery, and most importantly enjoyed each others company.

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the first part of our trip. There are a lot...so sit tight and enjoy

The next part of our trip was to Mobile, Alabama to visit Andy's awesome & super sweet grandparents! Don't worry, we took less pictures!
